Hello, I’m Matt.
As an Actor, I got my ride on the emotional rollercoaster with highs of performing to thousands of people, to the lows of being out of work and juggling low paid jobs to pay bills. With the combination of confidence issues and low self esteem, I began to realise that relying on work to give me validation wasn’t healthy for me. I was getting bogged down with the constant....
Something had to change.
It wasn’t until I went to CBT therapy myself that I fully understood how miserable I had been. Through CBT I found out how empowering feeling balanced with yourself could be. I’ve witnessed first hand the difference in my life since I took that first step, and it has inspired me to want to help others in the way that my therapist helped me.
I poured myself into studying, not only CBT, but also multiple other therapies to help people.
No one deserves to feel low about themselves or bogged down by the weight of modern life. I feel deeply passionate that everyone should be free to find their best path for themselves, to accept and love who they are, and feel empowered to keep on growing and discovering who they can be.
It’s all about Mindset, once you change that, there is no stoping the person you could develop into.

It turns out that I didn’t really know what I wanted from Matt - but crucially - he did! Struggling with the demands of my job (along with various other issues, which I didn’t realise was a factor at the outset of our conversations), I thought the answer was getting better at knowing about and controlling various mindfulness approaches. I was wrong.
After being sceptical, Matt was absolutely brilliant! Totally client focussed, very responsive with an incredibly high level of emotional intelligence, Matt made my experience both highly personal and effective. Guiding me through a course of CBT, I could not have asked for a more thoughtful, friendly and safe experience and Matt is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met, and I can’t recommend him highly enough!!
Working with Matt has been great. He has a professional, yet personable style which enabled me to discuss private issues with ease. We set some initial goals and worked towards them over the course of several weeks; sometimes changing direction, but always with a clear aim. I would highly recommend him.
